On January 28, 2018, a delegation led by Han Baosheng, Deputy Director of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Ning, Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Commission of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, Guo Huixia, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Municipal Education Bureau, Liu Fahui, Deputy Director of the Office of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Commission of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, Yang Haitao, a cadre of the General Office of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, visited our school for guidance and condolences. Xu Shangnian, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Yang Hui, Assistant to the President attended the reception, Han Baosheng, Deputy Director, delivered to Secretary Xu Shangnian a congratulatory letter from Wang Yongkang, Secretary of Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, and Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor of Xi'an, to President Hu Jianbo and Secretary Xu Shangnian of our school.

Han Baosheng, Deputy Director, pointed out that in the past year, Xi'an Eurasian University closely focused on the main theme of "catching up and surpassing", actively participated in the construction of the "the Belt and Road", gave full play to the educational resources of colleges and universities, fully mobilized teachers and students to participate in and support local economic construction, and made positive contributions to Xi'an's "focusing on" three six nine "and revitalizing the great Xi'an". On behalf of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, he expressed heartfelt thanks to the university. Director Han handed over to Secretary Xu a congratulatory letter from Wang Yongkang, Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, and Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor of Xi'an, to Hu Jianbo, President of Xi'an Eurasian University, and Xu Shangnian, Secretary of Xi'an Eurasian University. It is hoped that the school will continue to seize the strategic opportunity period of the "the Belt and Road" construction in its future work, give full play to the resource advantages of Xi'an's ancient cultural capital and university scientific research talents, and play a greater role in serving the local economic construction and boosting the "the Belt and Road" construction. And I wish all teachers and students of the school a happy New Year and make greater achievements in the new year.

Secretary Xu Shangnian, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome to Deputy Director Han Baosheng and his delegation to come to the school for condolence and guidance in the midst of a busy schedule and on the day of heavy snow, and on behalf of President Hu Jianbo, expressed heartfelt thanks to Wang Yongkang, Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, and Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor, for their congratulatory letters to the school. Secretary Xu briefly introduced the development process and achievements of our school in the past 20 years. He also said that the university will, as always, actively participate in and support the local economic construction, give full play to the advantageous resources of colleges and universities, seize the strategic opportunity of the "the Belt and Road" construction, and make greater contributions to the "Great Xi'an" "catch up and surpass".
