【International cooperation】Exchange visit of the delegation of the KRIRK University of Thailand to our university

In order to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between our university and the universities along the Belt and Road, on November 16, 2018, Dr. Yang Jinquan, President of the KRIRK University of Thailand, led a team of 10 people to visit our university, and held a discussion and exchange ideas with Principal Liu Jin and the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Communication Center Ding Jie.

Founded in 1952 and located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the KRIRK University of Thailand is a university founded by Le Mankala (เกริกมังคละพฤกษ์)(a local Thai) to spread educational English and is the first private university in Thailand to teach in English.

At the symposium, Zeng Yun, a teacher from the International Cooperation and Communication Center, first briefed the visitors on the development history of our university and other relevant developments.

Subsequently, Principal Liu Jin pointed out that "internationalization" is the most important strategic development direction of Eurasia at present, and our university is very happy to establish long-term friendly and cooperative relations with international universities and actively promote the landing and implementation of various international cooperation projects.

Dr. Yang Jinquan, President of the KRIRK University of Thailand, said that during this visit, he deeply felt the commitment of our university to promote internationalization, apply high level of private institutions of higher learning, and the two universities’ mutual agreement in the "student-centered" concept and others, so there will be a lot of room for cooperation in the future.

Finally, the two sides reached a preliminary intention in students' short-term study projects, academic upgrading projects, teacher training and other aspects of cooperation.
