The Development Quality Report of Xi’an Eurasia University Graduates in 2022 was officially released. The report shows that the university’s employment rate ranks among the top in similar colleges and universities in China, and students have remarkable performance in diversified employment fields, quality and scale of employers, and high-quality schooling at home and abroad. It fully demonstrates the implementation effect of Xi’an Eurasia University’s “student-centered” education concept and philosophy of “Being International, Valuing Application and Offering New Experiences”. Embarking from Xi’an Eurasia University, students can go anywhere they desire.

The total number of graduates from Xi’an Eurasia University increased from 5,372 of the 2021 class to 6,243 of the 2022 class. Despite an increase of over 900 students, the university has reached a high employment rate of 84.83%, ranking among the top of its kind in recent two years.

*Among the students that had not determined their graduation destinations, in job seeking and with no desire for employment but further education were the main reasons.

The ideal employment rate of graduates is not only attributed to Xi’an Eurasia University’s multiple measures to ensure high-quality student employment but also inseparable from the university’s following of social and economic development and students’ career development needs. In addition, Xi’an Eurasia University also adheres to university-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration and the teaching method for “learning something useful and benefiting from what you have learned”, and continuously improves students’ practical capability and employment competencies.

As a result, Xi’an Eurasia University achieved a high satisfaction rate of 95.08% given by students of the 2022 class, which is an impressive result for its efforts in education.

Regarding employment regions, 67.26% of the 2022-class graduates chose to work in Shaanxi, and Xi’an had the highest proportion of employment.

Regarding employment industries, the graduates showed a diversified trend, with their appearance found in education, finance, information transmission/software and information technology services, government and public services, and other sectors.

Regarding the nature of employment units, graduates of the 2022 class mainly worked in private enterprises or for individuals. Data of recent years shows that the proportion of graduates working in state-owned enterprises, government agencies, scientific research or other institutions, private non-enterprise businesses, and China-foreign joint ventures/foreign-funded/wholly-owned enterprises has increased, with improving student employment quality.

In terms of the scale of employment enterprises, the proportion of students that were recruited in medium and large enterprises with 300 employees or above was 37.68%.

According to the scale of enterprises where graduates from various majors worked, students majoring in software engineering, electronic information engineering, and finance performed well in being recruited by enterprises with more than 1,000 employees. Nearly half or more of the students from the three majors could enter large-scale enterprises.

In the 2022 class, a total of 1,151 students entered the top enterprises of each industry, and 162 graduates were recruited by the Top 500 enterprises, including well-known companies such as China Telecommunications Corporation, China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, China National Nuclear Corporation, and Gree Electric Appliances. The result demonstrated students’ high competencies in job seeking.

Regarding employment satisfaction, the 2022 undergraduates and junior college graduates all expressed high recognition for their working atmosphere and job duties. Among them, students majoring in electronic information engineering, accounting, and primary education ranked among the top three in employment satisfaction.

Among the 2022-class graduates, 51 students chose to start their own businesses, and culture, sports, and entertainment became the hottest segments for entrepreneurship. Many students said that having good entrepreneurial projects and ideals was the main reason for them to become entrepreneurs. At the same time, innovation and entrepreneurship education received at the university also played a major role in their choices.

Xi’an Eurasia University is one of the private universities in finance and economics with the highest schooling level in mainland China. According to the survey of the 2022 class graduates, the university’s business disciplines achieved remarkable results in education, teaching, and student employment development, ranking first according to various data.

The education satisfaction survey of 2022 undergraduate students showed that the education satisfaction rate of students majoring in marketing and human resource management was 100.00%, while that of students from other business majors was more than 95%.

In the 2022 class, up to 978 students chose to seek further education, showing steadily improved higher education quality and quantity for students.

Regarding international education, 61% of the students were admitted to the top 500 universities according to the global QS ranking, and 17% were admitted to the top 200 QS-ranking universities.
