On the morning of April 18, the "Million Fund Donation" Signing Ceremony was held in the conference room on the first floor of Xi'an Eurasia University's Administration Center. Xia Weiwei, General Manager of Xi'an Union Business Operations Management Co., Ltd., President of Hanyue Hotel Management Group and an alumnus of Xi'an Eurasia University in 2010, and Yang Ni, Executive Director of Xi'an Union Business Operations Management Co., Ltd. and an alumnus of Xi'an Eurasia University in 2010, donated RMB 1 million to their alma mater on behalf of the company to support the development and construction of the university.

The donation of RMB 1 million by the couple Xia Weiwei and Yang Ni will be used by secondary schools, such as the School of Business Administration, the Eurasia Art and Design, the School of Culture & Media, etc., to set up project teams for exploring a new round of business innovation in the hotel industry and co-establishing the "Hotel Mini Business School" with academic and industrial resources to provide intellectual services for the development of the hotel industry and cultivate high-quality application-oriented talent, thus providing strong support for the development of alumni.

Xia Weiwei was deeply impressed by the years of studying and growing in his alma mater. "Xi'an Eurasia University is a special place. Words such as 'loving Xi'an Eurasia University, loving your future self', 'going all the way with what Xi'an Eurasia University has taught us', and 'starting from here, going anywhere' have inspired me to move forward after graduation." Xia Weiwei founded Xi'an Union Business Operations Management Co., Ltd. and started his business in 2011 by running common apartment hotels with an investment of RMB 200,000. After more than ten years of hard work, his business has developed into a company focusing on all business sectors of the commercial real estate and hotel industry, with over 200 mid-range and high-end hotels under its management and operation. This company is also a consulting institute for many domestic commercial real estate companies and provides hotel financial service support for many domestic brand chain hotels. In 2023, Xia Weiwei participated in the course of Mini MBA Alumni Enterprise Training Camp organized by his alma mater's alumni association and had new ideas on enterprise cultural construction, operation management, and industry empowerment. "I hope that through this practical action, I will work together with all my peers to contribute to the long-term development of our alma mater and the growth of younger students," he said.

The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of Xi'an Eurasia University's Education Development Foundation. Professor Liu Jin, President of Xi'an Eurasia University and Chairman of the School Education Development Foundation, sincerely thanked Xia Weiwei and Yang Ni for their generous donations and support for the university's development. She said that this donation is not only a recognition of the university's educational and teaching innovation, scientific research, and social service development, but also a strong support for its sustainable development and cultivation of high-quality application-oriented talent. Since its establishment, Xi'an Eurasia University's Education Development Foundation has gathered the strength of all parties to promote education and received generous donations from all sectors of society and alumni, which have strongly supported the innovative development and pursuit of excellence in the fields of talent cultivation, alumni growth, scientific research, and social services. Liu Jin welcomed all alumni to go home more in the future and looked forward to working with them to jointly promote the sustainable development of the university and contribute to regional economic development.
