College introduction

Central Queensland University (CQU) is one of the most vibrant, innovative universities in Australia. It was established by the government in 1967 and is a member of the Federation University Australia. It was founded in Rockhampton, and started to award university degrees and was named Central Queensland University in 1992. In 2014, the university merged with CQ TAFE. It became the first comprehensive university that provides dual degrees in Queensland 30 years ago based on over 175 years of experience in education and training. CQU has established and developed its own network of campuses located in many famous cities around the world from the eastern coastal areas in Australia to the Pacific region.

Location:

       CQU is a regional university with a friendly atmosphere. Rockhampton where its main campus is located is a safe, low-cost city close to the Great Barrier Reef. The university has campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for international students. The three campuses are not only well-equipped and resort to small-sized class teaching, but more importantly, hold four enrollments per year to help students shorten the length of studies.

Bachelor’s degree-master's degree program, 3+2 mode (for information engineering majors at Xi’an Eurasia University)

Two study tours per year, postgraduate study

"Combined bachelor's and master's degree program": After completing the three years of undergraduate study at Xi’an Eurasia University and passing the language test, students in the undergraduate-masters program can enter Central Queensland University to begin their postgraduate studies. After graduation, they can obtain a bachelor's degree from Xi’an Eurasia University and a master's degree from Central Queensland University.

Admission requirements:

High school graduates with a score of 50 above the 3-tier college entrance standard can apply for the combined bachelor's and master's degree program jointly launched by Xi’an Eurasia University and Central Queensland University.

Grants and funding policy: For excellent students in the program, Xi’an Eurasia University will provide a scholarship of 1,000 to 3,000 Australian dollars.
