College introduction

Coventry University is located in the city of Coventry, UK. It is the 12th top university in the 2018 university league tables released by the Guardian. Its predecessor is the Coventry College of Design established in 1843. With more than 100 years of merger and development, it was officially renamed Coventry University in the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 promulgated by the British government led by Sir John Major in 1992. In the latest UK’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) in 2017, Coventry University won the Gold Award, the highest honor therein. TEF is an important indicator for evaluating teaching quality. It ranked among the top four in the Times Academic Reputation Survey. For a long time, Coventry University has been second to none in art and design, especially industrial product design. It is most prominent for the majors of automotive engineering and automotive design. In this regard, it ranks first in the UK and third in the world.

Coventry is located in the heart of England. Traffic routes from south to north in the United Kingdom run through Coventry, which enjoys great geographical advantages. It is an hour's drive from London and takes only 15 minutes by train to Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK. The Birmingham International Airport is within easy reach, and there are direct flights to major central cities in Europe and the world.

Admission requirements:

Sophomore/junior students that pursue a bachelor's degree, second-/third-grade students at junior college with a GPA of 70-75+ and IELTS 6.0

(Students whose IELTS results do not meet the admission requirements should take English courses for 4-16 weeks before specialized courses)
