College introduction

In 1925, it grew from one that provides two-year teacher training programs to a normal university with a length of schooling of four years and eligible for awarding the bachelor's degrees in science. Becoming a public state university with the consent of the state government in 1943, MTSU has gradually developed into the largest one providing undergraduate education programs in the state and a comprehensive university with many excellent postgraduate education programs. It set up the first Honors College in Tennessee in 1998.
