College introduction

Founded on January 9, 1964, Jeonju University (전주대학교) [1] is a four-year comprehensive private university located in Nosong-dong, Jeonju. In February 1981, the campus was moved to the current location in Hyoja-dong. It was taken over by the New East Asia Group in December 1984.

Jeonju University is a private university in Jeollabuk-do. Jeonju University has selected the field of traditional culture, carbon industry, and cultural content industry related to local and national industries as its specialties and concentrates on training. I-Class, Star-T program, entrepreneurship education, and career education are provided for good education services and career assistance.

At present, there are 8 undergraduate colleges, 60 majors and 9 graduate schools, and 58 master's and doctoral courses. Jeonju University is a four-year comprehensive university. It is an international university with more than 1,100 foreign students from 19 countries all over the world studying here.
