Eurasia 2018 New Year Concert, see you at Xi'an Concert Hall on January 8

At 19:30 on the evening of January 8, Xi'an Concert Hall, a New Year's concert belonging to Eurasians, will meet you.

The choir of Xi'an Eurasian University, which has won many awards in national competitions, will present a musical feast for Xi'an's music fans with the conductor Mr. Li Qiang, the piano accompanist Mr. Wang Kai, and the two guest performers, Bai Meng and Zhao Xun.

② Performance team

The choir of Xi'an Eurasian University was established in April 2007, and its members are all students of Eurasian University. In recent years, they have participated in many performances both inside and outside the school, and achieved excellent results in major competitions.

Some award-winning works:

The Return of the Silk Road and The Conversion of saul won the first prize of 2017 Xi'an First International Chorus Festival

Double Double won the third prize of the third national college students' art exhibition and the national excellent guidance award

The Bell at the Origin of the Earth won the third prize of the fourth national college students' art exhibition and the first prize of Shaanxi Province

③ Performers

Specially invited conductor: Li Qiang, member of China Musicians Association, member of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Youth Federation, lyric tenor, chorus conductor. He is the permanent conductor of the choir of the School of Music Education of Xi'an Conservatory of Music, and the artistic director and permanent conductor of Xi'an Rosefinch Chamber Choir.

(Figure 3) Li Qiang

Art director: Wang Kai, a master's student in piano teaching and performance of Xi'an Conservatory of Music in 2015, studied under associate professor Pan Meimei. He went to the National Grand Theater, Beijing Concert Hall and other places with the Youth Choir of Xi'an Conservatory of Music to participate in large-scale performance activities, and served as piano accompanist for several professional choirs.

Special guests

Bai Meng, tenor singer, professor of Xi'an Conservatory of Music, deputy director of the Higher Normal Vocal Music Academic Committee of the Music Education Branch of the Chinese Educational Society, deputy director of the Music Education Committee of Shaanxi Musicians Association, and special actor of CCTV. He won the silver medal of Bel canto in the fifth CCTV National TV Singer Grand Prix; The 4th Youth Literary and Artistic Creation Award of Shaanxi Province won the title of "Young Artist".

Zhao Xun is a professional teacher of bamboo flute at Xi'an Conservatory of Music. One of the "Top Ten Young Bamboo Flute Players" of CCTV. Director of the Bamboo Flute Society of the Chinese Musician Association, Deputy Secretary General of the Bamboo Flute Professional Committee of the Shaanxi Ethnic Orchestra Association, and Executive Head of the Shaanxi Ethnic Orchestra. He once won the gold medal of the first international national instrumental music competition in Hong Kong, the first prize of the flute group of the third Shaanxi Provincial National Instrumental Music Competition, and the bamboo flute combination "Fenggu Chang'an" initiated and guided by him won the highest prize of the sixth Wenhua Award.

Liu Xiqiu, member of the Chinese Musicians Association, deputy director of the Mass Choir Committee of the Chinese Chorus Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Choral Art Research Association, member of the Chinese Conductor Association, president of the Shaanxi Chorus Association, vice president of the Shaanxi Symphony Association, national first-class conductor, first-class performer, and former deputy head of the Shaanxi Orchestra.
