Schools

The School of Accounting and Finance originated from the Department of Business Administration established by the school in 2000. Its predecessor was the School of Accounting established in 2010, and it was renamed the School of Accounting and Finance in 2024.As a key secondary school for the construction and development of Xi’an Eurasia University, the School of Accounting and Finance adheres to the development concept of "dual informationization and coordination", focuses on "intelligent finance and taxation" and "industrial finance" in the digital economy era, relies on industry co-construction, and is based on enterprise employment standards. Through deep cooperation between government, university, and enterprise associations, the school strives to cultivate students' practical abilities and professional qualities in “finance/accounting/auditing+technology+data”, and shape international applied talents that meet workplace standards.

School offers four undergraduate majors: financial management, accounting, finance, and auditing, with over 2600 students currently enrolled. Since 2015, the school has been successively approved by Shaanxi Provincial First class Major (Finance, Financial Management, Accounting), Shaanxi Provincial Comprehensive Reform Pilot Major (Finance, Financial Management), Shaanxi University Youth Innovation Team, Shaanxi Provincial Characteristic Major (Financial Management), Shaanxi Provincial Excellent Teaching Team (Finance, Financial Management), Shaanxi Provincial Talent Cultivation and Innovation Experimental Zone (Internet Finance, Financial Management), Shaanxi Provincial Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, Shaanxi Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, Shaanxi Provincial College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base and many other provincial quality engineering projects, as well as international/domestic honors such as “ACCA Golden Education Institution”, “Digital Accounting Education Accreditation (DAEC) Project Benchmark College”.

As the “Construction Unit of the Virtual Teaching and Research Section of Big Data Management” of the Ministry of Education, the “Director Unit of the Digital Intelligence Finance Work Committee of the the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development Alliance”, the “Executive Director Unit of the School Enterprise Alliance for the Transformation and Development of Chinese Accounting Education” and the “Director Unit of the International Management Accounting Education Alliance of the Ministry of Education”, the school has invited Professor Mancang Wang from the School of Economics and Management of Northwest University, Professor Gaoliang Tian from the School of Management of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Huanzhang Xu from the School of Management of Xi'an Engineering University, and Professor Yonghong Li from the School of Economics and Management of Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications as academic advisers, as well as industry executives and elites from banking, securities, insurance, consulting services and other industries as guest professors and industry mentors to guide the development planning, discipline and curriculum construction, production and Integration and social services, teacher development and student growth.

The school attaches great importance to the construction and development of the teaching team. In the current teaching team, there is 1 director of the China Finance Society, 1 director of the China Accounting Society, 5 master's supervisors, 2 teaching masters in Shaanxi Province, 1 outstanding teacher in Shaanxi Province, 1 model teacher in Shaanxi Province, 1 May Day female hero in Shaanxi Province, and 1 smart tree online education teacher. 70 full-time teachers and 60 externally hired teachers. There are 73 teachers with associate senior or higher professional titles in the teaching staff, with 41.4% of them being “dual qualified”teachers and 21.4% being teachers with international backgrounds.

The layout of diversified educational products such as the “CPA Accounting Firm Order Class” and the “Asset Appraisal Industry Elite Class” is carried out, and business cooperation is carried out in multiple dimensions such as inter school discipline and professional construction, school enterprise joint talent cultivation, customized internships and employment for students, and enterprise consulting services. The school enterprise joint promotion of the effective integration of “joint services+technological innovation+achievement transformation+talent cultivation” in the field of enterprise digitization builds a seamless platform for traditional financial and taxation education and digital technology practice, cultivates composite “management (finance and accounting)+economics (finance)” talents who understand both industrial operation and financial tools, can handle financial and taxation analysis as well as fund operation and internal control design, and meets the comprehensive growth and career development of students.

The college focuses on creating an international education environment and cultural atmosphere. ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are one of the “local internationalization” projects that the school continues to prioritize. In April 2021, ACCA UK headquarters awarded us the title of “ACCA Gold Level Educational Institution”. As the first and only private university in the country, our university has been awarded this qualification for five consecutive years. The approval of the “ACCA Global Unified Exam Machine Test Center” and “ACCA Instant Computer Test Center” in 2019 and 2021 respectively marks that the school’s ACCA teaching software and hardware have been highly recognized by the ACCA UK headquarters. As one of the earliest private universities to offer CFA specialty courses, the school integrated CFA Level 1 courses into its financial talent training program in 2015 by offering CFA specialty classes. With high-quality course content and comprehensive learning resources, students have been able to develop comprehensively in areas such as obtaining international vocational qualifications, international education, expanding overseas horizons, and shaping international citizenship, effectively enhancing their employment competitiveness.

Accounting

Introduction: The Accounting major cultivates high-quality applied talents who master the basic theories, methods, and technical tools of accounting, possess the ability to comprehensively apply accounting knowledge and information technology, analyze and solve practical problems in business, finance, and taxation. Graduates can engage in accounting, accounting data analysis and decision-making, and tax risk control in industrial and commercial enterprises, financial enterprises, social intermediary agencies, government agencies, administrative institutions, and other related industries. The core positions include financial accounting, management accounting, tax specialist, etc.

Financial Management

Introduction: As a first-class major in Shaanxi Province, the Financial Management major adopts diversified and multi-level talent training models such as “employer oriented school enterprise talent co-education + project practical teaching + domestic and international educational advancement” to cultivate high-quality applied talents that adapt to the development of the times. Graduates can engage in traditional and emerging financial management jobs such as financial analysis, management accounting, data analysis, and intelligent financial system applications in enterprises, government departments, financial institutions, accounting firms, asset appraisal companies, financial consulting firms, and non-profit organizations.

Finance

Introduction: Focusing on investment and wealth management, industrial financial services, cultivating applied talents with wealth management and automotive financial service capabilities. Through the training of "theory+case+practical training", master skills such as securities investment analysis, family wealth planning, supply chain finance design, and industrial investment and financing management. Collaborate with securities firms, banks, automotive companies, healthcare and other enterprises to introduce intelligent investment advisory simulations, new energy vehicle finance and other practical training, creating a “classroom learning skills, enterprise training capabilities”. After graduation, I will be competent in positions such as fund accountant, investment advisor, financial planner, and supply chain financial product manager in financial institutions, and build a differentiated competitiveness of “understanding investment and industry”.

Auditing

Introduction: This major systematically masters basic professional knowledge in management, economics, accounting, financial management, auditing, law, etc. It is familiar with international accounting standards and auditing standards, and has basic professional practical abilities in financial report preparation and analysis, audit plan formulation, audit data analysis, and internal control system construction and evaluation. It is a high-quality applied talent in the new era who is competent in auditing, internal control and risk management consulting, and related professional work in government departments, enterprises, institutions, and social intermediaries.
