School of Vocational Education

Established in October 2012 (renamed from the School of Higher Vocational Education in February 2023), the School of Vocational Education serves as a second-class school dedicated to advancing vocational education. It fosters vertical integration across different educational levels and horizontal collaboration among diverse learning models, creating a framework that combines junior college education with bachelor's programs while equally emphasizing continuing education and vocational training.

The School comprises six departments: Intelligent Finance & Taxation, Real Estate Services, Business Administration, Physical Education Services, Digital Creativity, and Education Services. It focuses on modern service industry education, embraces adaptive quality standards and regional economic development, pursues a differentiated approach aligned with industry needs, and prioritizes student employability and diverse career development in talent cultivation. By grouping related disciplines—those sharing foundational knowledge, technical fields, and occupational roles—it implements broad-based training to drive institutional excellence through program cluster development. The School advances distinctive vocational education through "backward design, forward implementation" in teaching methodologies.

It tailors education to market demands, fosters school-enterprise partnerships for employability, defines talent cultivation objectives by occupational competencies, designs curricula around workplace tasks, assembles faculty teams based on curricular needs, and nurtures lifelong learning through personalized development. Over the years, the School has developed four distinctive features: a modern service industry focus, seamless school-enterprise integration for industry-education collaboration, employment-driven talent cultivation, and multi-path student development.
