As a key school prioritized for development at Xi'an Eurasia University, the School of Data Science is one of the first private university schools in Shaanxi Province approved to offer the Data Science and Big Data Technology program. High-quality Curriculum Development: The school has built 1 provincial model course, 2 provincial first-class courses, 4 national open online courses, more than 10 textbooks compiled by faculty members, 11 industry-co-developed courses, 3 university-level value education integrated courses, and 4 university-level key courses.

Interdisciplinary Curriculum System: Integrating programming, statistical analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence and management thinking, the school offers cutting-edge courses such as Deep Learning, Business Intelligence and Application and Python Programming.

Dual-mentor Training Mechanism: Adopting collaborative guidance from academic supervisors and industry mentors, the school enables students to win over 120 awards at or above the provincial level annually in various discipline competitions.

Practical Project Transformation: The school has established a Data Innovation and Practical Teaching Center and a university-industry joint experimental platform. It owns 35 off-campus internship and training bases, 8 professional laboratories and 5 faculty-student studios, with more than 30 real industrial projects incorporated into classroom teaching cases.

Integrated Industry Resources: The school maintains in-depth cooperation with more than 15 leading enterprises including ZTE, Meilin Data, AsiaInfo Technologies, Chengmai Technology, FineReport Software, Transcosmos and TAL Education. Joint customized training programs are launched to build an integrated pathway for student internship and employment.

Real Project-Driven Teaching: The school has carried out over 30 university-industry cooperative projects with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Changtian Siyuan, Xingtong Tian’an, BitSense and other institutions, covering atmospheric pollutant emission inventory analysis, corporate pollutant emission monitoring, logistics vehicle safe driving behavior analysis, natural gas consumption behavior analysis and other fields. Nearly 40% of students participate in industrial research projects, ensuring continuous practical project experience throughout their four years of undergraduate study.

Provincial-Level Scientific Research Platforms: Supporting faculty research in data security, fintech and other frontier fields, the school has undertaken more than 100 provincial and ministerial-level research projects in the past three years.

International Exchange & Cooperation: A bilingual big data class has been established to broaden the global vision of teachers and students. Through diversified international education activities including cross-cultural lectures, English corners, bilingual teaching of professional courses, short-term overseas study tours and exchange programs, and corporate global experience programs, the school effectively improves the quality of international talent cultivation.
