Overview of videos and images on the opening ceremony
At 14:00 on May 9, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 2025 EAaD Graduation Season of Xi'an Eurasia University was officially opened. This year's Graduation Show gathered 202 sets of innovative works from 399 graduating students majoring in environmental design, digital media art and visual communication design. Over 74.3% of these works are original, fully demonstrating the teaching achievements of "branding, digital intelligence, and (super) specialization" and the vigorous creativity of young designers.
Representatives from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Xi'an International Studies University, Xi'an University of Technology, Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and other sister universities, and industry representatives from enterprises such as Jan New Sciences Design (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Xi'an Rail Transit Group Company Limited, Livat Xi'an, Digital Monster, attended the Graduation Show together with media guests and university leaders. The opening ceremony, presided over by teacher Wang Xiaotong from Eurasia Art and Design (EAaD), was successfully held.
Speech by Wang Ying, Vice Dean of EAaD
At the opening ceremony, Wang Ying, Vice Dean of EAaD, expressed her gratitude to the guests present. She said, "Design has changed from a discipline into a big design industry. In this context, EAaD has always been guided by the 'employer-oriented and student-centered (ESC)' concept. In terms of talent cultivation, it also puts forward the positioning of 'branding, digital intelligence, and (super) specialization.' The training of students lies not only in aesthetics, but also in skills and techniques. We hope that our students can develop the ability to solve comprehensive problems, further adapt to future market changes and needs, and become designers dedicated to integrated innovation."
Speech by Student Representative Ai Yuhang
Ai Yuhang, a representative of graduating students, told us about his four-year study life and what he has learned. From being ignorant to firmly choosing to enter the design industry, he continued his research and study on this road. He said, "The real research projects made me really realize that design could enable me to gradually touch the pulse of the industry through drawing." At the end, Ai Yuhang sent sincere blessings to his teachers and juniors.
Speech by Teacher Representative Wang Jia
Wang Jia, a teacher representative from EAaD, sent precious wishes to students who are about to graduate: "Life cannot be repeated. Everyone has a different perception about the world. I hope that you can rely on the professional skills and special qualities developed in EAaD to explore the things you like best and most want to do in this era of diversity and pluralism, seek and pursue freedom, and become the person you most want to be. I hope that in the future 10 years, 20 years or even longer, this light you create today will not only remain in your memories, but also keep motivating you to move forward and innovate."
Speech by Professor Li Jie, Dean of the School of Arts, Xi'an International Studies University
Professor Li Jie, Dean and doctoral supervisor of the School of Arts, Xi'an International Studies University, spoke highly of the students' professional ability: "I was moved by the enthusiasm, creativity and professional attitude of the students when I participated in such a lively exhibition for the first time." He emphasized his high recognition of the educational concept of "branding, digital intelligence, and (super) specialization", and called Xi'an Eurasia University a particularly respected university.
Speech by Professor Hu Jianbo, Chairman of Xi'an Eurasia University
At such an important moment of the Graduation Show, Professor Hu Jianbo, Chairman of Xi'an Eurasia University, told us about its 30-year history and culture. In his speech, he stressed, "The slogan for the 30th anniversary of the university is to be a beam of light in the ordinary world." We are all ordinary people, and the university is not that famous. However, there is light in our hearts, and we are willing to make the whole society better using the light." At last, Professor Hu expressed his gratitude to all teachers, friends from sister universities, and enterprise representatives who have worked hard for the growth of the students, and to all guests present. He sent his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students. The 2025 EAaD Graduation Season officially opened.
Exhibition Scene
The exhibition covers 202 sets of innovative works from 399 graduating students majoring in environmental design, digital media art and visual communication design, fully reflecting the deep integration of "experimental innovation spirit" and "professional technical practice".
It is worth noting that many works originated from cooperation projects with IKEA, OATLY, whatelephant and other enterprises. From the digital protection of intangible cultural heritage to smart community service design, those works highlight the core concept of "design driving social innovation".
