[Good News] Xi'an Eurasia University Has Won First Place in the "Ranking of Private Universities in Finance and Economics" by Cuaa Net for 9 Consecutive Years
On January 25, Cuaa Net, a national third-party university evaluation agency, officially released the 2022 Ranking of Chinese Universities by Cuaa -- Guidelines for Applications for the College Entrance Examination. With high-quality education, our university has been ranked first in the "Ranking of Private Universities in Finance and Economics" by Cuaa Net for 9 consecutive years.
Cuaa Net is a third-party university evaluation, consulting, and research institute recognized by all sectors of society and with good credibility. Since 2003, Cuaa Net has been publishing the "Ranking of Chinese Universities by Cuaa" for 20 consecutive years, which is widely concerned and highly recognized by Chinese universities and all sectors of society. It is regarded as an important reference for candidates of the National College Entrance Examination each year in filling out their applications and selecting universities and majors.
The evaluation index system of the 2022 Ranking of China Universities by Cuaa Net consists of 12 first-level indicators, including ideological and political education, outstanding alumni, teaching quality, high-level talents, preponderant disciplines, scientific research achievements, scientific research programs, scientific research bases, social services, school level, social reputation, and international influence. It is oriented to serve the national Double First Class development strategy and improve the ability of universities to serve national and local economic and social development, covering more than 700 evaluation indicators of core functions of Chinese universities.
It is also known that on December 15, 2021, our university was awarded "2021 Model Private University of Strength" by CCTV in the 2021 "Voice of China" annual education summit.
Since the founding of our university 27 years ago, we have adhered to the educational philosophy of "internationalization, application-orientation and new experience", considered quality as the lifeline of our university's development, and firmly practiced the "student-centered" founding philosophy. We have made breakthroughs and developments in the midst of changes with open ideas and innovative educational practices, forming the development path of "expanding international vision, following the Chinese path and creating Xi'an Eurasia University's characteristics". Our educational quality and brand reputation have continuously improved, and we have won high recognition from stakeholders like students, employees, enterprises, peers, and the government.
The year 2021 is the beginning of the 14th "Five-Year Plan" of our university. With the theme of "Year of Teachers", our university has intensified the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents. The joining of many high-level talents has injected strong power into our university's development of disciplines, talent cultivation, scientific research and growth of young teachers, laying a solid foundation for us to further improve the quality of education and teaching. In 2021, our university was awarded "ACCA Gold Level Education Institution" as the first private university in China to obtain this qualification, which signifies that ACCA education in Xi'an Eurasia University has reached international standards in terms of teaching quality, teaching management and teaching hardware and software. Business majors have won many awards in the 7th China International College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, China University Business Elite Challenge, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition, which have enhanced their professional skills and international vision. There are also many students who have gone to the University of Leeds, the University of Liverpool, Coventry University and other world-renowned universities for further study. The level of business graduates' education and employment has been continuously advanced.
Xi'an Eurasia University Business now offers 15 majors, which are distributed in three major business schools of finance, accounting and business administration, among which five majors, including accounting, finance, e-commerce, financial management and business administration, are first-class undergraduate majors in Shaanxi Province, and the tourism management major has been certified by the United Nations World Tourism Organization for the quality of tourism education. The CFA International Class in Finance and ACCA Class in Accounting also provide students with a diversified growth path of "further studies both at home and abroad + international certificates + employment in TOP companies both at home and abroad". Well-known corporations, like China Merchants Bank, Golden Education, Merit Data, Kingdee, Inspur, and ShineWing, and universities have established in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with our university to build professional courses and provide high-quality practical training, internship and employment opportunities for students, jointly cultivating high-quality applied talents who can adapt to the development of modern business society.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, our university will focus on major work in six key areas, including internationalized and applied talent cultivation, scientific research and social services, talent engineering, brand upgrading, and cultural construction, and digital transformation, to advance our educational and teaching reform to a deeper level.
