On April 11, the Work Committee of Education of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government issued a notice commending the model units of the "Double Hundred Project" in 2021. Our university was awarded the model unit of the "Double Hundred Project" again and is the only private university that has won this honor for five consecutive years.
In 2021, following the requirements of higher authorities to carry out comprehensive pandemic prevention and control, Xi'an Eurasia University actively created and explored new mechanisms, new channels and new projects for school-local assistance to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and realize rural revitalization. Moreover, Xi'an Eurasia University has completed the education assistance plan formulated at the beginning of the year effectively, which is a great contribution to the rural revitalization of the county.
In 2021, the Party Committee of Xi'an Eurasia University attached great importance to the "Double Hundred Project" and held 7 special meetings to study the work of pairing assistance in rural revitalization in Qingjian County. The project managers visited Qingjian County for investigation and guidance twice and carried out 10 assistance projects throughout the year, which greatly promoted the integrated development for mutual benefits between Qingjian County and Xi'an Eurasia University. Among the projects, the School of Humanities and Education has undertaken the intellectual assistance program of "building a preschool education expert workstation", and the Teacher Development Center, the Office of Academic Research, and the School of General Education have undertaken the educational assistance program of "2021 Training for Famous Teachers of Primary and Secondary Schools in Qingjian County", "2021 Training for Improvement of Management Ability of Class Advisors of Primary and Secondary Schools in Qingjian County", and "2021 Training for Improvement of Teaching and Research Ability and Ideological and Political Courses of Young Teachers of Primary and Secondary Schools in Qingjian County". In addition, the "2021 UAV Science Popularization Training in Qingjian County" Science and Technology Assistance Project undertaken by the School of Culture & Media and the "Customized Class for Preschool Education" Talent Assistance Project jointly undertaken by the School of Higher Vocational Education and the Department of Academic Affairs have provided educational support to the county. The livelihood assistance projects undertaken by the Labor Union and the Department of Student Affairs, which focus on consumption assistance and funding for poor college students, as well as the volunteer assistance projects for holiday training camps undertaken by the Youth League Committee, have also helped to promote the livelihood assistance work.
Having learned from the previous work experience of the "Double Hundred Project", our university has made full use of the educational and teaching resources in the school and established more educational assistance projects to meet the requirements of the national rural revitalization strategy. In 2021, 2 staff members won awards in the Provincial Agricultural Product Packaging Design Competition, 3 papers on rural revitalization were completed, and 91 articles on rural revitalization were published, with a total of RMB 1.4926 million of consumption assistance.
Rural revitalization will be comprehensively promoted in 2022. Following the requirements of the higher authorities, Xi'an Eurasia University will focus on the "Eight Major Assistances", work on building and promoting industry-university-research integration demonstration bases and physical projects, implement the consumption assistance activities of "High-quality Agricultural Products Entering Universities", and comprehensively revitalize the county's rural industry, talent, culture, ecology, organization, etc. to celebrate the 20th CPC National Congress.
