Introduction

Birmingham City University (BCU) is a modern, multicultural, comprehensive public university in the UK. Founded in 1843, it is located in Birmingham, central England. BCU is an innovative and practical university of higher education, and its courses are oriented towards academic practice and theoretical innovation. It aims consistently to provide students with high-quality teaching and follows a standard beyond the "strict national quality requirements" for higher education in the UK. BCU has 8 campuses in Birmingham. It boasts state-of-the-art teaching facilities and laboratories, and provides students with advanced learning and teaching facilities, such as libraries and activity centers. As part of the development of Birmingham, the university has spent £260 million to build a new "flagship" campus and teaching facilities. Its School of Art and Design is the largest of its kind outside London. BCU's School of Jewelry ranks 1st in the UK and is the largest of its kind in Europe. It also has the most prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire.

Language Requirements

Bachelor's: An overall IELTS band score of 6.0 with no element less than 5.5
