On November 11, the CBE (Computer-Based Exams) team of ACCA's UK headquarters sent an email to approve Xi'an Eurasia University's application for setting up a CBE Centre of ACCA. This indicates that the university's capability of examination site management, the invigilators' quality and the software and hardware of the site's equipment conform to the requirement for on-demand exams by the ACCA's UK headquarters.

   According to the ACCA's official website, the CBE candidates have two exam options: (1) The global session exams. These exams take place during the March, June, September and December exam sessions all over the world. The exam subjects include all the courses of the Applied Skills Stage (excluding LW) and the Strategic Professional Stage. The ACCA China will be responsible for exam management and computer operation of the global session exams. (2) The on-demand computer-based exams at any time of the year. These exams can be taken at any time of the year, so that the candidates can apply for them according to their schedule. The exam subjects include all the courses of Foundations in Accountancy (FIA), three courses of ACCA Applied Knowledge Stage and LW courses of Applied Skills Stage. The exam centre will be responsible for the exam management and computer operation of ACCA on-demand CBEs.

   In February 2020, Xi'an Eurasia University was approved as a "Global Session Exam Centre" by ACCA. In mid-July 2021, the university's ACCA centre started its procedures of applying for the certificate of "On-demand Exam Centre" from ACCA's UK headquarters. In early August, the ACCA centre of the university submitted all the paperwork required for the online application and had passed the review of the CBE team of the ACCA headquarters. In late August, the centre was examined by the ACCA Guangzhou office via video calls. Also, Wu Xiaoguang, head of ACCA centre of Xi'an Eurasia University, and Zhao Huan, Yang Xuxin, Wu Xiang and He Yang, teachers of the centre, received the online training of ACCA on-demand CBE. Later in early September, the centre completed the update of hardware, as required by the CBE team of ACCA headquarters, newly installing six well-configured printers and network cabinets for servers.

   On November 11, Xi'an Eurasia University was officially approved as an on-demand CBE Centre of ACCA by the UK headquarters, indicating that the university's capability of examination site management, the invigilators' quality and the software and hardware of the site's equipment conform to the requirement for on-demand exams by the headquarters. The approval means maximized use of the hardware resources for the CBE at the centre, which will not only fulfill the demand of the students on campus, but also offer on-demand exam sites for other ACCA candidates that are not from Xi'an Eurasia University.

   It is learned that in Xi'an, only three institutes have the certificates of ACCA on-demand CBE, including Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an Technological University, and Xi'an Eurasia University. Among all the Chinese private universities, Xi'an Eurasia University is the only one that owns certificates to host both session and on-demand exams of ACCA, and the second university in Xi'an to be approved to hold these two exams after Northwestern Polytechnical University was certificated.

   As an "ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner" recognized by ACCA's UK headquarters, Xi'an Eurasia University's certificates of holding these two exams of ACCA demonstrates that the university is comparable to China's key universities with this title in this regard, and can offer the most distinctive ACCA courses among all the Chinese private universities and colleges of ACCA education.
