On the afternoon of April 19, a conference was held in the academic lecture hall at the library to celebrate that Xi'an Eurasia University has been recognized as an ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner for three consecutive years.

Attendees included Prof. Hu Jianbo, Chairman of Xi'an Eurasia University, and Prof. Sun Jianrong, Director of the International Development Committee and Vice President of Xi'an Eurasia University. On behalf of the ACCA Beijing Office, Ms. Liu Fang, Marketing Manager in North China and Ms. Zhang Yidan, Director of Student Affairs, came to express their congratulations. Other attendees included Director Wang Lixia and Wang Han from the Admissions Office, Wu Peida from the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, and leaders from the School of Accounting, such as Executive Dean Prof. Xie Tao, Director of ACCA Center Prof. Wu Xiaoguang, Director of Administrative Affairs Center Zhang Hao and Director of Teaching Affairs Center Liu Chang. In addition, all faculty members of the ACCA Center, School of Accounting and students of the ACCA program at school were also present. The celebration conference was presided over by Zhang Chaojie, Secretary of Teaching and Academic Affairs of the ACCA Center.

Prof. Hu Jianbo first congratulated Xi'an Eurasia University on securing the ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner status for three years in a row. The quality improvement of Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA qualification is in line with the strategic goal of its international development. At the forefront of Xi'an Eurasia University's internationalization is the ACCA team led by Prof. Wu Xiaoguang. Prof. Hu Jianbo expressed his gratitude to Prof. Wu for bringing China's first-class experience in ACCA program operation to Xi'an Eurasia University, enabling the university to be recognized as a Silver Learning Partner and then a Gold Approved Learning Partner for three consecutive years. He said ACCA students' quality was the key to such achievements. In his speech, Prof. Hu Jianbo encouraged all ACCA students present, saying, "Learning ACCA is challenging. You are fortunate to be admitted to Xi'an Eurasia University as it is very ambitious. You are also lucky to study with Prof. Wu Xiaoguang's ACCA team. I believe that your achievements will exceed your expectations before enrolling in Xi'an Eurasia University and the ACCA program." Based on the development trend of higher education in the next 15 years, he pointed out that the strategic goal of Xi'an Eurasia University's internationalization is to develop an international university locally. Relevant hardware facilities have been provided to create an international study environment, allowing students to enjoy the campus life of international universities. According to Prof. Hu Jianbo, universities should fulfill their missions, and Xi'an Eurasia University's mission is to help enterprises, faculty members, and students succeed. Its vision is to become the most influential applied business university in China.

Prof. Sun Jianrong, Vice President of Xi'an Eurasia University, said in his speech that the university provides three types of international programs, and the ACCA program is a certificate-based one. He pointed out that previously, certificates added value to academic qualifications. Yet, the development of international higher education in the last three decades has transformed the relationship between certificates and academic qualifications, which will be the university's future research focus. Xi'an Eurasia University has an advanced concept that it prepares for the future in advance. Prof. Sun Jianrong said that Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner statue should be credited to students and hoped that all of the students present will be the main contributor to the next celebration ceremony. The ACCA program offered by Xi'an Eurasia University and the relevant services provided by the ACCA team are to help students secure greater success. Prof. Sun Jianrong introduced the pass rates for March 2023 ACCA exam sitting and told students that enrolling in Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA program is just the first step and how to make good use of the great platform built by the ACCA team depends on themselves. He said students' success is what Xi'an Eurasia University aspires to, and all resources offered by the university and the ACCA team are to realize the goal. He encouraged students to play a greater role and do their best!

On behalf of the ACCA Beijing Office, Ms. Liu Fang congratulated Xi'an Eurasia University on being recognized as an ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner for three consecutive years. She said, "ACCA upholds an extremely stringent set of criteria for approving the application for Gold Approved Learning Partner, requiring learning providers who are currently delivering the ACCA and/or Foundation level qualification to meet 12 performance targets. Besides, all Approved Learning Partners must complete an annual renewal. Xi'an Eurasia University plays a critical role either in the construction of private universities or the development of business education in China. Since being recognized as a Gold Approved Learning Partner in 2021, Xi'an Eurasia University has won this honor for three consecutive years, thus establishing a higher position in the field of business education among private universities nationwide. This accomplishment further proves that leaders at all levels of the university and schools attach great importance to the ACCA program and they have carried out strict management and realized outstanding performance in ACCA education. As the only private university in China that has secured the Gold Approved Learning Partner status, Xi'an Eurasia University has achieved attainments noteworthy nationwide, which are also highlights of the ACCA program in the private education industry." In her speech entitled ACCA Helps Dreams Come True, Ms. Zhang Yidan introduced the global influence of ACCA, the exclusive support resources provided by ACCA to students and the development pathways that ACCA can give students.

Prof. Liu Jin, President of Xi'an Eurasia University, was unable to attend the celebration conference because she was on a business trip for the Ministry of Education's teaching assessment. She asked Prof. Wu Xiaoguang to greet leaders, guests, faculty members and students and extend warm congratulations.

Prof. Wu Xiaoguang, Director of the ACCA Center, delivered a speech entitled Reviewing the Charm of Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA Program. He looked back at the history when Xi'an Eurasia University applied for the Silver Learning Partner and Gold Approved Learning Partner, became a centre offering both on-demand and session computer-based exams (CBEs), and was recognized as a Gold Approved Learning Partner for three years running. Leaders of the university at all levels and the ACCA Beijing Office cared about, supported, helped and encouraged the construction and development of Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA program. The faculty of the program consists of British and Australian teachers, of which all are ACCA members, doctors and professors from universities of Project 985 and Project 211, CMAs, CGAs, CICPA members, and excellent teachers trained by the university. The multi-structured, competitive ACCA teaching team is unique among universities in the country that offer the ACCA program. In addition, teaching assistants, who have passed the corresponding ACCA exams, will answer ACCA students' questions and prepare them for the exams. Headteachers are all returnees with master's degrees to serve and manage student affairs. This is also unique among universities in the country that offer the ACCA program. Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA program also has exclusive ACCA textbooks co-compiled by foreign teachers, doctors, professors, experts and teachers of the university and Financial English incorporating the basic knowledge of the first nine courses of ACCA and a professional glossary in Chinese and English. All of these are provided for ACCA students free of charge. This is also unique among universities in the country that offer the ACCA program. Xi'an Eurasia University is also a session CBE centre and an on-demand CBE centre. It is the only private university offering ACCA in China that is accredited as a Gold Approved Learning Partner and a centre offering both on-demand and session CBEs. It is also the only ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner among all universities offering the ACCA program in northeastern, northwestern and southwestern China.

Wang Lixia, Director of the Admissions Office, said at the ceremony that the excellent management, teaching, and CBE teams led by Dean Xie Tao and Prof. Wu Xiaoguang are essential to Xi'an Eurasia University's recognition as a Gold Approved Learning Partner for three consecutive years. Xi'an Eurasia University, as a centre offering both on-demand and session CBEs, boasts a number of "firsts" and is the only winner of many honorary titles. The Admissions Office will admit better students for the ACCA program based on the ACCA Center's admission criteria and goals of 2023 and improve the number of examinees, pass rates, and ACCA teaching quality with the help of the ACCA Beijing Office.

Associate Prof. Xie Tao, Executive Dean of the School of Accounting, delivered a speech at last. He summarized the history of Xi'an Eurasia University's ACCA program in the past three years with three words. First, challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic brought challenges to ACCA education, exams and equipment support. Second, gratitude. Xi'an Eurasia University has offered the ACCA program for 14 years since 2009. Growing from a Silver Learning Partner to a Gold Approved Learning Partner for three years running, Xi'an Eurasia University is grateful for the support from ACCA Beijing Office and the university's functional departments, Admissions Office and International Cooperation and Exchange Center, especially during admission seasons. Xi'an Eurasia University is also grateful to the teaching and CBE teams of the ACCA Center for the provision of a high-level teaching platform and resources as well as to students for their unremitting efforts and support. Third, expectation. Associate Prof. Xie Tao hoped that students can devote themselves to study, striving to take and pass ACCA exams to prepare for the future.
