On April 20, 2023, Shaanxi Digital Education Conference was held at the iHarbour Campus of Xi'an Jiaotong University, hosted by the Education Working Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Committee and the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government. The theme of the conference was "High-Quality Development of Education Empowered by Digital Transformation", and the conference was held to promote the development of digital education in Shaanxi by exchanging and discussing digital education, implementing the national digital education strategy, and creating a digital education environment for fostering character and civic virtue. Shu Hua, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology, and Informatization of the Ministry of Education, and Wang Shuguo, President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Wang Shusheng, Deputy Secretary of the Education Working Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, presided over the conference. Founder and Chairman of Xi'an Eurasia University Hu Jianbo and Vice President Li Zheng were invited to attend the conference and delivered speeches in the Digital Education Forum.

At this conference, President Hu Jianbo was invited to attend the "Digital Education Forum". He combined the practical experience of Xi'an Eurasia University in informatization and digitalization with the problem of how to carry out digital transformation in colleges and universities, and put forward such views as "we should clearly position ourselves and not blindly follow the model", "we should attach great importance and make a long-term investment", " strategic planning should be made, as well as regular check on the implementation", "we should be application-oriented and let teachers and students use it", "we should rely on a professional team, instead of just individual exploration", which were widely agreed by the participants. Meanwhile, he introduced our digital research institute and invited peers to visit.

Xi'an Eurasia University participated in the Digital Education Exhibition as an Intelligent Campus Demonstration University

The conference has a special exhibition for digital education, and our university participates in the exhibition as a demonstration school of intelligent campus in higher education. The theme of the exhibition was "Digital Transformation Achievements of Xi'an Eurasia University ", which showed the history, planning, and practical achievements of digital transformation and the overall business situation of the Digital Research Institute of Xi'an Eurasia University. The exhibition attracted a large number of colleagues from the educational administration and various schools.

Graphic Information Center was awarded as an advanced group for five consecutive years

At the Digital Education Conference, the awards for those organizations who made contributions to Shaanxi education network information work in 2022 were presented. The Graphic Information Center of Xi'an Eurasia University was again awarded the Advanced Group for Education Network Security and Information Work in Shaanxi, which is the fifth consecutive year that our university was awarded this honor. Luo Zheng, Director of the Graphic Information Center, received the award on stage.

Digital Research Institute expands its brand influence and gets upgraded again

At the conference, Shaanxi Digital Education Annual Development Report 2022, initiated by the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government and compiled by the Digital Research Institute of our university, was officially released to the public. This is the eighth consecutive year that our university has undertaken the research and preparation of this report. This annual report has been renamed and upgraded from "Annual Development Report on Education Informatization" to "Digital Education Annual Development Report", which will continue to conduct in-depth research and promotion for local cities and counties.

In the meantime, the Digital Research Institute has taken the initiative to undertake government services and projects in connection with the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, and has been responsible for and participated in some important preparatory work for the Digital Education Conference, including the video on "Digital Education Development in Shaanxi Province", the report display on "Digital Education Deployment in Shaanxi Province", and the video production for "Digital Education for All". Our campus environment, digital research, and application achievements have been shown on various promotional videos of the conference many times, which have been recognized by the leaders and guests and further enhanced the influence of our digital brand.
