On July 7, 2023, the BEED Awards 2023 cum 15th Asian School Construction Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. With the theme of “Departure at Dawn to Forge Ahead on Waves”, the conference invited many well-known school principals, important education groups, and relevant government leaders, aiming to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in the field of education and the ways to better promote the high-quality construction of schools.

The conference consists of eight theme forums, namely: “Innovation: Opening up a New Pattern of Education”, “New Trends in International Education Development”, “Reshaping: Construction of Future Learning Space”, “Optimization and Upgrading of School Operation and Management”, “New Path of Higher Education Reform”, “Professional Growth: Teachers’ Future Development”, “Transformation: Embrace Digital Change”, and “Green and Sustainable: Campus New Future”. Luo Zheng, Director of the Graphic Information Center of Xi’an Eurasia University, attended the conference by invitation, presided over the forum “Transformation: Embrace Digital Change”, and delivered a theme report entitled “Digital Transformation Planning and Practice in Universities — Taking Xi’an Eurasia University as an Example”, which received unanimous praise.

Director Luo Zheng’s report covered three aspects: The digital transformation planning of universities, The digital transformation practice of universities, and the services provided by the Digital Research Institute of Xi’an Eurasia University externally. The report introduced the overall framework, key projects, and changes in core concerns of Xi’an Eurasia University’s digital transformation planning, elaborates on the specific practices in the whole process of talent cultivation, administration, teacher development, data governance, and smart park operation, and finally introduced the core business and external services of the Digital Research Institute of Xi’an Eurasia University.

In the future, Xi’an Eurasia University will continue to give priority to “digital transformation”, give full play to the role of data, drive the innovative development of various business units with digital technology, promote the transformation and upgrading of its education model as well as overall reform, and facilitate the organic renewal of parks, thus promoting the overall high-quality development of the university. At the same time, it will continuously expand its external service capabilities, continuously promote its digital transformation mode, and provide sister universities as well as related enterprises and public institutions with integrated solutions for digital transformation and smart campus construction.
