(Fig. 5) Mr. Kang Zhijun Delivering A Special Training Session on Drucker Management
As the first university in China to introduce consulting companies and take the lead in implementing internal management system reform, Xi’an Eurasia University specially invited Mr. Kang Zhijun, founder of Peter Drucker Translation Fund and WeChat official account “12 Druckers”, to deliver a special training session on “The Essence of Peter Drucker’s Management Thoughts” in order to continuously build an excellent performance organization and improve management efficiency. The training began from the thought of management master Drucker and proposed, through the explanation of topics such as self-cultivation, talent cultivation, business prosperity, and benefiting the world, the main skills and five habits that should be cultivated for effective managers with high performance from the personal and organizational dimensions. Kang Zhijun pointed out that the correct and productive interpersonal relationships in an organization value contribution and performance instead of harmony. Learning management can not only contribute to your career and work effectiveness but also help you “live your life” conditionally instead of trying hard just to “survive” in the future, making you an effective, responsible, accomplished, and real person. The participants had a brand-new understanding of Drucker’s management thought.
Team-building Activities: Build A Cohesive Team
(Fig. 6) Scene of the Team-building Activity

Ten teams were set up on-site to complete ten fixed-point challenges such as Breaking the Wind, Pluralitas in Unitatem, Starting from Here, and Eurasian Password, further building a positive, united, and collaborative management team, creating a warm, harmonious, and inclusive team atmosphere, and enhancing professional happiness and sense of belonging.
Publicity and Implementation of Values: Educating People First, Open Education, Excellent Performance
(Fig. 7) Special Report by Chairman Hu Jianbo
Hu Jianbo, Chairman of Xi’an Eurasia University, delivered a special training session on “Educating People First, Open Education, Excellent Performance”. Hu Jianbo further interpreted the value-oriented education philosophy through theoretical explanation, development foundation, and environmental analysis from four dimensions: educational philosophy and education model, one body and two wings under open education, excellent organizational ability and leadership, and outstanding teachers in applied disciplines. He put forward a “student-centered” education logic: The premise of education is to love others, the essence of education is to change ideas, and the effect of education lies in “teaching by words and deeds”. The report clearly stated that the concept of running an applied university should change from “focusing on its ranking within the university system and its own upgrading and development” to “focusing on students’ learning and life experience and meeting the needs of lifelong education in a knowledge-based society”, from “a relatively closed state in the educational circle” to “in-depth industry-education integration and comprehensively open school running”, and from “promoting academic reputation as the orientation” to “meeting the development needs of regional and industrial enterprises and acquiring social resources”. Hu Jianbo stressed that the University will continue to build a relatively independent scientific research team with a high research level and strong delivery abilities, forming an organized scientific research model.
2023 is a crucial year for the 14th Five-Year Plan of Xi’an Eurasia University to connect the past with the future. This seminar focused on “quality contribution” to continuously improve the education and teaching level and talent training quality of Xi’an Eurasia University through further delegation and empowerment of major directors. As mentioned by Chairman Hu Jianbo in the 2023 graduation speech “Live with Your Head Held High”, “This is Xi’an Eurasia University. Most teachers and faculty members here have found their way into Xi’an Eurasia University’s development in the University’s mission and vision. They dedicate their wisdom and strength to innovation little by little every day, which will bring immeasurable energy and value to the University.”
