In the golden autumn of September, 5,967 students from 27 provinces across China gathered at Xi'an Eurasia University to embark on another exciting and anticipated journey in their lives.

On the morning of September 15, the opening ceremony for freshmen enrolled in 2023 at Xi'an Eurasia University was held in the stadium. Leaders of the party committee of Xi'an Eurasia University, members of the academic committee and degree evaluation committee, heads of schools and functional departments, experts and professors in various disciplines, outstanding teachers, and counselors' representatives jointly welcomed the Class of 2023 to Xi'an Eurasia University. The opening ceremony was presided over by school leader Zhang Junhong.

Xi'an Eurasia University has always advocated the "student-centered" education and teaching concept. In the process of talent cultivation, the university has always paid attention to "cultivating virtue, innovative spirit, international vision, independent thinking, and strong practical ability". It cares about the lifelong development needs of each student and focuses on the learning experiences, development, and learning effects of students. The application of various teaching forms such as case teaching, situational teaching, project-based teaching, and blended teaching has helped students effectively participate in learning, project practice, and academic competition. Xi'an Eurasia University has carried out cooperation and exchanges with 53 universities at home and abroad. Through inter-university teacher sharing, mutual recognition of credits, and student exchange programs, it provides students with high-quality international education inside and outside the campus. Xi'an Eurasia University has eight distinctive youth communities, more than 80 colorful societies, and more than 30 sports clubs, providing a stage for students to show their personalities and talents. These high-quality and rich campus cultural activities have promoted the all-round development of students. Today, more than 140,000 graduates are contributing their talent in all walks of life.

Professor Liu Jin, President of Xi'an Eurasia University, sent this message to freshmen and expressed the hope that the students could remain firm in their choices, remain full of strength, and move forward to explore the endless possibilities of the future at Xi'an Eurasia University.

At Xi'an Eurasia University, there are foreign professors who can bring students a diversified international perspective. There are also many teachers who have returned from overseas studies and famous experts and scholars with rich industry backgrounds. With the passion and determination for education, they aim to bring forth innovative teaching methods that break the boundaries of conventional learning and enrich students' learning experiences.

Ren Lina, a teacher from the International Language Center, shared her inspiring stories of teaching and nurturing students during her 21-year tenure at Xi'an Eurasia University. From the university's continuous curriculum reform, all-around and systematic support and guidance, and training on educational concepts and teaching paradigms to the great energy brought by excellent peers and students...... Like all other teachers, Ren Lina continuously reflects on and improves her teaching methods and meticulously designs the lessons, aiming to guide and facilitate student learning.

Students' growth and development serve as the most authentic and vivid portrayal of the educational and teaching reform within the university. By sharing her growth story on the internationalized campus of Xi'an Eurasia University as an outstanding graduate, Ren Lina hopes that at this unique, innovative, diversified, and student-centered university, freshmen enrolled in 2023 will acquire new knowledge and skills, develop new thinking habits, and improve their personal qualities comprehensively in a more profound way to prepare for their future life, thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world, and cope with the unknown and changes in the coming decades in intelligent, forward-looking, and creative ways.

Considerate volunteer service for welcoming freshmen at the time of admission, fun APPLE experience camps during Freshmen Week, and enthusiastic and vivid entrance education organized by mentors and seniors... Han Yuting, a freshman representative of Queens' Land Youth Community majoring in Digital Publishing at the School of Culture & Media, has really felt the warmth and love here during her stay of more than one week at Xi'an Eurasia University and has begun to feel the enlightenment brought by the school motto "Pluralitas in unitatem" with curiosity and a desire of exploration.

For the next four years, Han Yuting said that she would explore with tireless perseverance and be brave enough to start a new journey, in an effort to become a student of Xi'an Eurasia University who is thoughtful, good at communication, and has an international vision and become a Chinese youth who pursues dreams energetically.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman Professor Hu Jianbo and Professor Yu Mengchen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xi'an Eurasia University, put school badges on Zhang Guiqian and Liu Yike, representatives of freshmen enrolled in 2023. Teachers, counselors, and outstanding student representatives put school badges on freshmen representatives, and students offstage put school badges on one another. Representatives of freshmen put the "letters to themselves in the future" into the "time mailbox" to show their expectations of a bright future during the next four years of university.

At this moment, the freshmen start their university tour.
