They are academic role models dedicated to learning, constantly striving for excellence in their fields; academic teams that focus on scientific research and pursue excellence; art and sports teams with outstanding talents and courage; volunteer service teams dedicated to public welfare... They shine in different tracks such as academic fields, competitions, and public welfare activities, interpreting the essence of Eurasia Youth Role Models through passion, hard work, responsibility, and innovation.

On the evening of December 27, at the gymnasium of Xi'an Eurasia University, the "Youth Role Model" 2023 Best Students Commendation Ceremony was held. 642 outstanding students and 27 excellent student teams received the most prestigious honors of 2023, with over 1,400 teachers and students witnessing their growth and transformation throughout the year.

This year, the awards were divided into 11 categories for individuals and teams. The four award categories for individuals were the National Scholarship, the National Encouragement Scholarship, the University-level Academic Role Model, and the Virtuous Youth, and the seven award categories for teams were the Outstanding Academic and Technological Team, the Excellent Art and Sports Team, the Outstanding Volunteer Service Team, the Shared Values Dissemination Team Award for Youth Communities, the Outstanding Class Collective, the Excellent Student Union Branch, and the Outstanding Student Growth Promotion Association.

Guo Yuying, winner of the 2023 National Encouragement Scholarship and a student of the class of 2021 majoring in primary education at the School of Humanities and Education, delivered a speech as a representative of the award-winning students. She shared her three-year learning and growth story at Xi'an Eurasia University: from project-based learning both inside and outside the classroom, independent exploration, and the experience of serving as a student leader, she gained comprehensive skills and abilities; in participating in the "Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship" competition, she acquired new knowledge and academic experiences. In the future, she aims to carry the spirit of Xi'an Eurasia University, setting off towards higher peaks and further roads.

Su Yuanwei, Head of the University Student Art Troupe, delivered a speech as a representative of excellent student teams. Over the past year, students of the University Student Art Troupe has delivered outstanding performances in several significant events such as the school sports day, graduation ceremony, opening ceremony, and freshmen welcome party. They also achieved first place in Shaanxi Province's 7th University Student Art Exhibition and Performance. "Every day of rehearsal, every competition, every success or failure has taught us confidence, cooperation, passion, and altruism. These experiences have gradually molded us into better versions of ourselves," stated Su Yuanwei. He expressed gratitude to the university for providing a platform for growth, bringing together students with artistic interests, fostering a shared passion, and enabling them to ignite their individual strengths on the path toward pursuing their dreams.

Liu Jin extended congratulations to the outstanding students and teams who won the awards. She encouraged everyone to begin with the end in mind and remain true to one's original aspiration, aiming to become individuals who love themselves, have partners, enjoy growth, and take pleasure in making contributions. She also anticipated that students would achieve more in their new journey in 2024: Academically, they should cultivate good study habits, focus on tapping into the potential of self-study, collaborative learning, and inquiry-based learning, maintain a thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for learning, be adept at thinking and brave in exploration, and cultivate critical thinking and innovative abilities; socially, they should uphold the shared values of "cleanliness, health, friendliness, and self-discipline" among youth communities, learn to care, understand, and support each other in interactions with their families, classmates, and friends, maintain a positive mindset, form healthy habits, love learning, and live well; in social practices, they should actively participate in various social services, understand the real world, enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, establish an understanding of society and an awareness and positioning of themselves through beneficial social practices, extensive public welfare activities, and international exchanges, and adequately prepare for their future careers.
